Visitors
The aliens landed noonish on the farm and beamed over to where Wayne was fixing the coop ramp. "They had some real good tech," he told the government (when a couple of agents showed up some time later), "and I could understand them perfectly. Didn't stay long. No experiments this time and all the cows are accounted for. They'd been fighting and stopped to ask for directions; they were headed to a big event somewhere else and got turned around." The men in black (more like dark grey tweed this time) didn't have much to say; Wayne's farm was an intergalactic 7-Eleven and it was a long drive back to the office. Wayne felt kinda bad for them, coming all this way, and resolved that - next time - he'd show them his Polaroid collection of the various visitors and some of the space crap they'd given him in barter for Twizzlers and the occasional egg.
