Cupcake
"Ummm ... are you sneaking a cupcake right before bed?" Martin asked, smiling. "No," Sarah answered with her mouth full, "I'm boldly eating a cupcake before bed with zero remorse." He laughed and she pointed to a piece of paper taped to the side of her fridge. "Live and live well," Martin read aloud. "Let every day contain an act of love, an act of truth, and an act of decadence. Wow." He turned and smiled at her. "My grandmother wrote that; it was her life philosophy," Sarah said, taking a wad of frosting on her index finger and carefully applying it to her mouth like lipstick. "She lived to 93 and she was the happiest person I've ever met." She stepped closer to Martin, grabbed his shirt, and pulled him in suddenly for a frosting kiss. "Love or decadence?" he whispered, his eyes bright. "Combo," Sarah whispered. "Total combo."
