"Tea?" Marshall offered, easing into the conversation. "It won't help," Thurgand replied. "Not entirely, but name three things a strong cup of tea cannot take on directly!" Marshall continued cordially. "Lycanthropy, murder most foul, and rampant idiocy," Thurgand answered (with no hesitation). "Whisky it is, then," Marshall acquiesced, feeling both disappointed and (if honest) a little relieved.
