Room
As Regina moved through the lobby to the front desk, the old-fashioned service bell rang of its own accord. "Woah," she said, but the clerk only laughed and offered a warm, "Welcome to the Horrors Hotel, where something always knows you're here!" She had booked a basic room - something in the wing where the kitchen staff had stayed once upon a time ("Haunted & Hangry" was the name), but he gave her a full tour and offered Regina an upgrade to a larger suite if she was so inclined. "Right now, "The Shining" is open; "Lizzie Borden Didn't Do It" will be ready at noon; "Thing at the Window" was booked, but they changed their minds; "Unseen Hand" is available, but that shares a bathroom with "Psycho"; oh, and "Lost Tarantula" is booked tonight and then open the rest of the week. "The lost what now?" Regina whispered, her flesh crawling. The clerk laughed. "I know, right?" he said with a smile, but it was not a comforting smile.
