"No," Peter said firmly, checking boxes quickly on the entry form and smacking the entrance button like he was playing Whack-A-Mole. "Just a couple of questions," the soul said, drawing near to the podium. "No, no questions," he replied curtly, "but you're welcome to the Land of Answers; it's right inside." The soul smiled. "Great," it responded, "but if I could just cover a couple of things ..." "Nope," Peter answered, fumbling on the underside of the podium and pulling the lever that initiated a strong (almost magnetic) pull designed to help with crowds. "Byeeeeee. Bye bye. Enjoy. Welcome." The soul went zipping past and Peter closed the gates immediately; the lobby area was once again peaceful and serene. "Humanity is so noble and brave and delightful," he whispered, "but so curious ... so overwhelmingly, insatiably, exhaustingly curious ... "
